The Plan

I’ve been buying games on Steam for a long time now.  Ever since a free copy of Halflife 2 came with my Radeon 9600XT back in 2004 Steam has been my primary source for PC games.

In the intervening years I have amassed a collection of several hundred games, many of which I have never even played.  Mostly on sale, sometimes not, I just keep buying games and only playing a small fraction of them.  It’s not that I don’t want to, I just always wander off to do other things, or play other games.

Enter this blog, the purpose of which is to keep me focused on the progress I’m making with my games and playing them all, either to finish them, or in the case of games which are by their nature unfinishable or just plain bad, played to my own satisfaction that I have sufficiently experienced the game.

Join me in this journey and help keep me on task!  Maybe you might even want to suggest what game I play next.  Check out my list of games below.  I’ll let you know the shamefully low number of them that I’ve actually finished — or even played — in a later post.
